What do you think of these developments?

  • We have all heard about the major announcements coming out of Block One (EOS) recently that seemingly bodes massive growth and adoption.

  • We have all heard of the FUD surrounding EOS and especially Block. One, but is it real... or founded or will it hamper EOS in it's mission or adoption?

In My Mostly Uneducated Opinion

I see it as a great step, not so much for decentralization as so far it is not showing that direction. But here is the thing, you have the Good'Ol Boyz club that still has a strong grip, intelligence, savvy and let's not forget money to build, control, contort, etc. any and every market they wish.

So I see owning EOS as a hedge against the Decetralized Cryptos we all hold dear. If they (the Good'Ol Boyz), do win or at least offset the freedom of us Cryptoers in Cryptopia, for a longer period of time, why not get a piece of that action for balance and security? And if it does what it was designed to do... we can all simply convert to a Crypto we have a passion for (big mistake - investing is no place for emotion... even for Steem and Steemit).

Great topic to discuss. Nice article @kyusho. I appreciate your work.
Thanks for sharing this post.

Have a good day!

Agreed, it might certainly be positive as regards price, at the expense of decentralisation, anyhow the first forks are already up, so this should increase and diversify the eos infrastructure

Diversification into old world (for now) and New World economics, businesses and technology is still essential as we have not completely jumped over to the new. The old is where the trillions of investment capital is... but some are so adamant or emotional that they ignore this.

So I like the hedge of centralized for decentralized and I like the decentralized as a hedge against the centralized.

I agree with the author, @kyusho!
