EOS – State of Onboarding, March Edition

in eos •  2 months ago

As for the beginning of every month, let’s have a look at the raw numbers of the eos ecosystem, to align our assumption of the state of the chain, with it’s actual usage. And to to get to the point: Our hopes were in vain, crypto spring is nowhere near.

As of March 02, according to EOS New York’s snapshots.io the mainnet counted 761K accounts. Which is some 60K additional accounts since last month, so this is still significant growth, even if it’s below the Nov and Dec figures (which wasn’t really another crypto season). The striking fact here, is that all the onboarding efforts so, be it on the gambling end, be it EOS Knights, and all those giving away accounts havent drawn in, not the masses anyway, but even produced any significant uptick in account creation, which i feel is really sobering.
