EOS Referendum: let's take a look at the “EOS New York“ user agreement proposal
The EOS referendum system has been live for over a month now, and lots of controversial proposals have been submitted already. Most, of course, are mere sentiment polls at best and the actual purpose, for which the referendum system is meant for, hasn’t been addressed until recently: ratifying the interim constitution or proposing an entirely new constitution.
That has now changed with the EOS New York Platform User Agreement which is up for referendum.
Now someone has picked up the EOS New York text, and created the referendum:

Apparently it was not EOS New York themselves. The creating account is completely anonymous, and seemingly has only been set up for that purpose and although Eos New York have retweeted a tweet about the proposal, the didn’t really campaign for it so far.
Tldr version: what promises to be a light weight, easy to understand, well enforceable replacement for the current interim constitution, turns out to be quite a problematic, disempowering and inconsistent proposal.
