A Samstickkz-Hosted Nigerian EOS Nation Hangout with @Stephane
Asides the fact that the session was educative, it was also very exciting as one of our very own leading EOS Ambassador from the Nigerian EOS Nation community (@samstickkz), played host to one of the youngest professors of the EOS blockchain (Stephane Bison).
The 3-hour hangout started with a lot of partners and from the host community signing up and exchanging pleasantries. And then we heartily welcomed the facilitator for the day.
Mr Stephane talked extensively on the ideas about to be unveiled with the recent launch of the EOS Blockchain and the possible avenues with which to put our prints (as one of the few Block Producers) on the sands of time.
He talked about how the community has put in place a modality with which to authenticate voting and reduce fraud during such activities on the blockchain.
In his speech, I gathered that importance of the the private key when it come to voting of a block producers, can not be over emphasized!
As we already know
What ever is legit also must have a counterfeit
In this light he adviced that we should guard against giving out our voting private keys to piling sites and the likes so as not to lose out EOS tokens..
Also, stressing the importance of the voting policy, he highlighted that to be eligible for voting, one must have an amount of his tokens staked and thus also will help checkmate Token dump by short sighted token holders...
In a bid to motivate us as members of the EOS community he went ahead to talk about the fact that as a BP, EOS Nation would purchase RAM
Which will help in Block production of the community. Thus in line with the goals of the EOS Team, EOS Nation is rightly position to be amongst the best promoters of the EOS blockchain.
