Mummified cats
A few days ago a group of archaeologists discovered three tombs full of mummified cats in the city of Saqqara (Egypt), researchers also found many wooden figures shaped like cats and even a bronze statue in the shape of a cat.
These mummies are said to be more than 5,000 years old. With all that finding they let us know that in Saqqara the cats had a quite special place for the citizens, perhaps they treated their cats like Gods.
