Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here - including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks.
I've used some metrics (which is the fancy way of saying that made up some numbers) relating to:
- Posts (P)
- Comments - number of (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R)
- Comments - length in characters (C L)
- Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (U V)
- Self-votes - a small minus score for this one, sorry! (S V)
Note: Copy/Paste comments will be excluded (If I find them!)

I can see that! I know that I left a comment last fall about being part of it and I thought I was told they added me to the list, however. lol thanks @davemccoy, I have had a bit of writers/analysis block so I might as well do something else with the time I have on steem. Staying away from discord a little more too frees me up. although I dont know how long I be able to keep up the pace, these top folk are fast :-)

howdy today sir davemccoy! Well I knew you were still around because you're usually the first to comment on delishtreat's posts so I see you there.
As far as leading, I do step back occassionally so no guarantees there. Most days I question if what I'm doing is a good investment so if you still think it is let me know! Mrs. J has serious doubts and I don't think there's any proof at this point that she's wrong.
All I know is that we have brilliant and dedicated people working to improve the blockchain and the platform, is that a fair assessment? That's what I tell her. lol.
Even with it's slowdown Steem Monsters is still very popular isn't it?

And as for if this is a good investment, I think there can't be any proof at this time. I personally still continue to do things based on Steem because I think it has the potential8 to be very very successful (and profitable) one day.
To be successful, I think many things have to come together, but there are 2 major things I like about it and its chances. First, they are free to transfer, which is a huge advantage over most of the other cryptocurrencies. Second, they have a solid base of veterans (like us) that are very solid in my opinion. These 2 factors are things to be built upon, whether they get the right formula before someone does it better I don't know.
They certainly have their share of mistakes, but the first step has been taken and that is that they have admitted it. Once they identified they have problems, then those can be solved, but they wasted a ton of time in denial. I think that is over, so we will see the next phase.
You can tell your wife I'm here still going strong, so at least there are 2 of us that are willing to spend some time to find out ;)
I think Steem Monsters is in a lull and they too shot themselves in the foot with a few things, but overall the game is solid and they are working on a ton of new things. I have confidence they will get it right, but as with Steem itself, you never can know til it happens.
I do know one thing though, if things ever hit big again it will be the people that stuck around that made out. So while the lights may go out one day, on the other hand there might be a small fortune to be made if the right chemistry happens! :D

I've don't recall hearing anyone talk about Steem being free to transfer before. If that, or SINCE that is a major advantage I'm surprised I haven't see articles about that. I guess I don't know what the difference is with other cryptos concerning transfer.
Someone said the other day that there were way too many Steem Monster cards produced, is that one of the problems there? And also someone said they were starting to manufacture physical cards too along with the digital, is that true?
As you can see I'm not keeping up with Steem Monsters! lol.
It's very good to hear that Steemit is recognizing mistakes. I wish they would do something about these flagging and downvoting wars going on! My gosh you'd think that would drive away any new member who saw some of that. They'd think what in the world did I get into here?

Good morning/afternoon. I see that some of our league numbers went up and a couple went down. We're kind of like the wider cryptomarket. Make some gains, take some losses.
Seems to be some chatter down in the comments about flags on Steemworld, or something like that? I can see we've got something spilling onto this post and another about bot owners who may or not be honest and their victims and so forth, along with a rather degrading reply that doesn't help me know one way or the other if the first person is telling the truth or not.
Name calling rarely clarifies for me who's in the right. It just makes both parties look like they're in the wrong.
Anyway, I guess plenty of people finding some form of entertainment from flags. Yay. I guess. :)
At any rate, another week of engagement is in the books, and some familiar names up there in the top 10, along with @paulag (looks like you decided to award her for her efforts this timeโonly fair, I think :), and once again, not even in the top 25 for me.

I blew the post into outerspace, or Trending as some call it (I heard it's lonely in both place), this week to try and catch a few more entries, I'm not sure it worked at all really, and word of mouth still seems the best way to gather new members.
Hopefully (although I already have my doubts) this week will be more 'relaxed', I guess we will find out. Have a good week, see you on the blockchain somewhere :)
