The Future of Electricity Production

In the near future, electricity production is going to take a turn that T.H.E.Y., the globalists, the ones that want to maintain power at any cost, will hate.

Electricity production is going decentralized.

The plan back in the 1950s, by the likes of Buckminster Fuller, was to build a global power grid. The entire globe putting in electricity to a globe spanning grid to eliminate point failures and distribute the load.

Well, its a great idea... or was a great idea, however, we have a group of evil people that love to get into positions of power. And being able to turn off your power at any time, is such a high. Even better, for T.H.E.M., is raising your electric bill little by little watching you squirm until your little family pops and becomes destitute. That is like the highest high for T.H.E.M.

And for this reason, we cannot create a single point of control electric grid.

Then we have been trying to go completely individual.

Solar panels on your roof, and your own battery backup, and....

Unfortunately, this only works for people in locations with lots of sunlight. Further, you are spending 50 barrels of oil to get about 70 barrels of oil in electricity. And you pay that 50 barrels up front.

The good thing about solar is that it very robust and needs little maintenance. The connections, made solidly, will probably stay solid for the life of the installation. Everything is handled electronically. The only thing that really needs maintenance is the batteries.

For those with lots of long days and few clouds, this is a pretty good solution.
But, it will still break down if its maintenance is ignored.

So, global electrical grid and individual electric production have been tried.
What else is there?

Small community power. Where a group of neighbors work together to create an electric grid.

This size has many advantages.

  • Its large enough to be made efficient.
  • One mechanic type in the community can keep it maintained.
  • If it breaks down, such as in a snow storm, you can just travel to a nearby community to stay warm while repairs are enacted.
  • Cost can be shared by several people, bring the price within a doable range.

Further, there are many renewable energy sources that work well for a small neighborhood electric plant that is too much work for a single person and infeasible for a large electric plant.

So, the future will be small community power plants.

In future posts i will lay out plans for several types of these power plants that can be built now.

I awaite your next posts on this interesting subject. I built my own solar and battery system about 11 years ago and it has baid itself back about a year ago now.

I am glad you went with a battery system.

Most of the people i see putting in solar use a line-tie system... which completely becomes worthless if:

  • SHTF
  • Power company decides to turn you off
  • Power outage

I know the line-tie is cheaper, but really, having the battery backup system just adds a lot of flexibility and preparedness.

Yes the battery system is the best way. And when I bought my house I never had the power connected. As to me there was no sense connecting and still paying service charges just to sell them back some excess power. I would rather have nothing to do with them.

I would rather have nothing to do with them.

Always a good strategy, if possible..

Yes indeed :-)

that your posts are original creations will definitely help you.

The number of changes coming are going to be something. I sure hope it doesn’t get out of hand and hoping for a “soft transition”.

I don't know. Part of me feels that there will be some people who go back to living in mud huts, while others move into a space ship.

I feel the biggest change will actually be in computer interfaces. Where AI becomes actually helpful. It will seem like a tiny change.... that just makes everything work right. And that will freak out a lot of people.
