After a long week dealing with different issues involving learners at school. It's clear to me that parent involvement is vital in your child's life and the success of your child. It is sad to see how many kids need the attention of there parents but parents just do not have the time because work comes first. Kids behave badly and get into trouble in school because any attention from there parents is better than no attention.
Parents remember the job, big house and a fancy car are not going to bring back your child. Spend time with your kids, read that bedtime story, pray together, listen to your children and most of all let them know that you love them and will always be there no matter what.
Happy and well - balanced kids have involved parents.

Hi @shadowofmywords, I like your post, too many parents today give money instead of attention and love. Follow "steemiteducation" and use the tag when writing about education etc. Go check it out. It is a group of people, lots of them educators that also try to support each other. Another South African @giantbear started it.
