The Dumbing of Americans!

An educational reminder? Awe, who needs that--lol!

According to Forbes (5/15/17), only 36% of Americans can actually identify North Korea on the map. However, it's reported by Reuters (9/15/17) that 82 percent of Republicans would favor war against North Korea, and 37 percent of Democrats would also.

Could it be possible that any good received from public education becomes decimated by the commercialization, monopolization and indoctrination from America's main media?

Why aren't the facts of reality taking hold within the public consciousness? For example, how many folks could actually construct and accomplish what I did in my second paragraph?

Seems to me like we're electing the wrong kinds of politicians as they are the supposed leaders of our nation. Does anyone give any thought to the relationship between Donald Trump and education? Does everyone realize that Obama, Clinton, the two Bushes and Reagan were not much better? Who accounts for so many being so dumb and ignorant?

I guess it wouldn't be far-fetched to assume that a mixed up and relatively ignorant nation could actually get into a war where nuclear weapons could be involved?
