I'm an aspiring Fiction writer. I started writing on Steemit in order to share my stories. In the beginning, when @curie upvoted me being that I was a new user, it made sense.

Fiction stories take a long time to write. Each chapter might take somewhere between 1 hour and 5 hours. That is a great deal longer than your typical Steemit post.

Those get much more attention than the fiction stories.

Therefore, I have a great tendency to ignore my natural abilities and instead simply write about what's going on around me. You know, the kind of thing that people with higher SP want to read about.

I have lately been sponsoring a writing contest, which I will continue to do, in order to bring more attention to the fiction side of our Steemit world.

I think you've got a good idea here. I definitely have some talent as a blogger, and I certainly can write a good story.
