Drawing competition At @SchoolForSDG4
Hello All,
Two days ago, I arranged a drawing competition at @SchoolForSDG4 on the occasion of Bangladesh Victory Day. It was open for all and interested children participated in the contest. I will share a few details from @SchoolForSDG4 and will explain more details.
During the day, they also had weekly fruits program and thus they started drawing just after the fruits program. Children from slums don't have the opportunity to involve with such activities. Not only the financial problem but also the family lack of awareness are responsible for such neglect.
The above art represents the hilly view of Sylhet. We have many tea gardens in Sylhet. The workers in tea gardens collect leaves and take them in the factories. Later they get the wages according to the weight of the collected leaves. They are highly neglected community in this region. Last year I went to a school which was operated by an NGO in a tea garden. Children of these tea garden workers study there for free of cost.
