I have to confess to not understanding the question.
Meaning is given to things by humans, to ask what our own meaning is, is meaningless. How can my existence have meaning, for without my existence no meaning would exist. Its not a two way function, my ability to bestow meaning cannot make me exist, because I must first exist to bestow meaning.
If there are aliens, they might bestow meaning on us as a race, depending on the type of interaction, we could have meaning as food or gods, or other concepts we cant understand, but that meaning comes from them, not from ourselves.
So whether you ask at an individual level, or at a species level, to ask the question of yourself is a fruitless enquiry.
I/you/we just are.

It made a lot of sense to me. Not total sense, but that's ok. Didn't really explain how 1 plus 1 equals 1.. but I sort of understood and in some other ways completely understood.

1+1=1 when you are God and have nothing else to compare your value to.. whatever you are or add you will always be 1 ... UNTIL you have a contrast of polarity to compare to..

Yes, mathematically it's similar to infinity x 2 = infinity.. if you consider 1 as not being representative of a single unit of something, but as representing the entire infinite universe... and since there are no separate individual units (because everything is intrinsically connected and every single thing (or being) is a universe in itself, essentially, fundamentally composed of Energy) 1 + 1 does indeed equal 1.
Question is, if 1 + 1 = 1, what is 1 - 1?
Also infinity minus one...
Complex mathematical conundrums, beyond comprehension.
I think Bob Dylan was exploring a similar idea when he made the song title
LOVE MINUS ZERO / NO LIMIT
One plus one equals one represents a form of unity. The two greatest Commandments of putting God first in your life and treating others the way you would want to be treated also brings Unity. Selfless Love Peace giving... whatever it takes for folks to get along and be as one. Thanks for sharing @eco-alex
