Technology changing economics and politics?

How can we tell? By looking at the past.

I had a fantastic conversation with an economist with a history degree.. He said the great depression and recent economic events were not failures of the principles of economics but failures of the people to listen to economics.

Politics and economics don't change with technology.. They just get faster. The people are the same.. The rules are the same. The greed is the same.. So the mistakes are the the same.

Perhaps you've heard...Those who won't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.

Or in the words of Armageddon. "It happened before.. It will happen again."
