DF Succesion Game? (And what is DF)
Hi guys.
So, I am a new member of the Steemit community and so I´m starting out with some ideas. Steemit seems pretty interesting to me at his very beginning.
But, to me, something is missing out.
A Dwarf Fortress succesion game!
Don`t be scared because of the bad graphics the game has, DF has a lot of complexity added to it.
Yes, I know that a few had already made their post regarding their (mis)adventures at this game, but what Im proposing is a full-blown sucession game between the community, Boatmurdered-style

Q: So. What is Dwarf Fortress?
A: Dwarf Fortress (Full title: Slaves to Armok: God of Blood - Chapter II: Dwarf Fortress) is a fantasy simulator thatis broken in two modes (plus another one, that is not a game):
Dwarf Fortress: The most popular one, being the focus of many other sucession games, as well as this one. Its somewhat like a ridicously complex hybrid between Dungeon Keeper and The Sims, or, to keep it simple, a base building game
Adventurer: An freeform Roguelike in which you play as a single adventurer (don´t worry, you can recruit more later, but no multiplayer) searching for glory
Legends: Where you can read about historical events, people, etc, that happened in your randomly generated world.

A: December 15th, but I don´t have any definite plans
Q: Which version are you going to use?
A: 0.44.02
Q: How do I send the save?
A: 1: Go to the folder where you unzipped DF
(Note that you have to manually create a folder and name it as you like. I named mine "DF")
2: Go to "data"
3: You should find another folder called "save". Open it
4: If you already created a new world, it should appear as "region1"
5: Post the save at a archive host service (like http://dropcanvas.com/) and get it to whoever is next
