For breakfast with my daughters I prepared some sweet fried arepas with cheese, they are easy, cheap and super tasty.
Para desayunar con mis hijas preparé unas arepas fritas dulces con queso, son fáciles, económicas y súper sabrosas.
Ingredients:
Ingredientes:
• 1 cup of cornmeal.
• 1/3 cup of cheese.
• 3 spoonfuls of sugar.
• 1/2 teaspoon salt.
• 1/2 cup of water.
• Oil.
• 1 taza de harina de maíz.
• 1/3 de taza de queso.
• 3 cucharadas de azúcar.
• 1/2 cucharadita de sal.
• 1/2 taza de agua.
• Aceite.
Initially, he added the corn flour, salt and sugar in a container, added the water and incorporated the ingredients.
Inicialmente, agregó en un recipiente la harina de maíz, sal y azúcar, agregó el agua e incorporamos los ingredientes.
Next, he added the grated cheese and continue kneading until it forms a smooth dough.
Seguidamente, agregó el queso rallado y sigo amasando hasta formar una masa suave.
With my hands I formed some thin arepitas and then we browned them in oil.
Con mis manos formó unas arepitas delgadas y luego las doramos en aceite.
