Dtube and BitTube will greatly challenge Youtube in the near future.
I'd think it's more of a long term thing. Definitely a challenge though!
I would like to find many History or Science documentaries. We should really reach a point where we can see no difference between Youtube or Dtube, so that we dont need to go back there. We should also be able to upvote videos at anytime and not only for 7 days.
Yea, I have begged some of my favorite channels to come over to Dtube. I agree that you should be able to monetize content past 7 days. Sometimes, I'll find a post on Steemit that was a HUGE help, but I can't give them an upvote because the post was a month, or sometimes even a year old.
I don’t think we’ll see a time where there is no difference any time soon. As a matter of fact, they should be different just equally as productive. And it’s more of a steem issue than a DTube issue regarding the 7 day limit. However I do see your point and agree.

I think most of your points are being addressed by DTube. I know the mobile app got derailed I think cause some of the team actually left to work on another project.
Desktop app will probably be released sooner than the mobile app
Yeah I think so too. I'm upset to see the mobile app derailed. It's uncommon to see any platform without an app these days and if DTube doesn't get one, it's going to be bad news.
Most days I'm near a laptop anyways so I dont mind if a Mobile app isn't coming soonish

One problem I have always had with the DTube App is that it takes FOREVER to load, like seriously!. so if anybody who can chance that is reading this, please.. help a bro out.

Yeah im with you on analytics!! Most of my upvotes are all from these auto generators that I got involved in early on.
Apps are gonna be far from now im pretty sure. Cant wait until its here though.
Yeah i think both community ideas are solid. Right now Dtube is still in a weird phase as a platform. I think its developers are more focused on making it more functional, not so much the community. Its coming though. Gonna be dope man.
