Cruising To Summers Cabin

Five hour haul up to Laquin, Pennsylvania from Reading, Pennsylvania. A change in scenery from suburban concrete and glass windows to unpaved, uninhabited wild lands in the valley of Pennsylvania's Glacial Highland Plateaus.

It has been two full years since last visiting this sacred place. A bridge was out, about a mile from our destination, which extended the drive from 4 to 5 hours long. A tree had also fallen victim to the recent thunderstorm the area had received the night before and had knocked out the phone line into the hidden valley.

But nothing could stop us from getting to where we wanted to be.
