Day 6 -Head of Steem Adventure - Lots of Info Today
Today is the actual real first day of the conference. Yesterday evening we were able to visit with some amazing Steemians and other blockchain focused individuals such as @steemcafe, @kenmelendez, @llfarms and many others. I was even able to touch a Steem Coin thanks to Barry McCullers, the co-founder of Icon Digital Networks.
Today however has been full of a lot of information. The speakers have talked about things such as the many different blockchains out there and how they are able to work together. There were also presenters discussing their products and dapps to help us work better and smarter.
The best presentation, in my newbie opinion was @corsucate's how to better talk to others about cryptocurrency. She did a wonderful job helping me see how to not scare away people when I explain what steem is and how to catch their attention. It was definitely an eye opener for me.
@steembasicincome's founder Joseph Savage spoke about what the Steem Basic Income was and why it was important to the Steem community. It has enabled me to see how a few things need to change in the way we are voting and giving steem/sbd others. I know that there will be some work to be done on this account and @heyhaveyamet.
So much to process from today.

We all seem to have "met" for a reason; Steem Basic Income... my second interview... which happened to be with @ecoinstant at that! The #SteemTerminal, the @heyhaveyamet... all of these situations, that are putting focus to community, helping each other. You know... I will admit...I don't understand "everything" that is going on here. As I have mentioned... @bearone brought me here, and yes, I will be completely transparent, I thought, "hey...make posts, like a few... make money"...
You know that feeling you get when you hear your favorite song? How about that favorite meal you just love to eat... those feelings are real...tangible... obtainable. Some people only "think" about these ideas... "I wish I had food"... "I wish I had a home to live in..."
StewardsYes... these things DO take money to achieve, but if we all worked together... other's helping us "learn" how to work together... use this income to make all these dreams a reality...
