The Africa you won't see on TV - Post #13; Endless breathtaking landscapes - Part 1
The hardest hike leads to the best views? That's mostly true. However, not necessarily. Especially if you are in Kenya.
The hike to Zaina falls is a very easy one, but has the most impressive views ever. Few weeks before the end of 2017, I went there with an extremely adventurous group of souls.
Zaina is only a few kilometers from Nairobi and you can have it all done within 3 hours, much less is you're a seasoned hiker and much more if you wanna spend time listening to the sound of the water.
We did it after the rains and the mud was FUN! Mad fun 😎
This is one of some of the landscapes you have to "deal with" in Africa.
As always, this is part of a continuing series trying to showcase my continent in a different light. BTW should we just change the title to something that includes the s**t hole thingy?? 😜😂

Really looks awesome, where near Nairobi is this?
It is very amazing. That's Zaina Falls in Ihururu town.
You mean nyahururu?
No. Ihururu in Nyeri County.
Time and time again I have always asked the question 'why is it that the Africa we see on TV is the one that depicts our savage nature'.
Even in movies, most of the time the only thing you see about Africa is war, hunger, death, etc. This perspective needs to change.
Thanks for sharing
