I am thoroughly disappointed with the DIYW Thanksgiving. One would have thought there would have been video of the family gathered at the latest Homestead for the Thanksgiving feast from the fruits of the little mans labor. Sharing the bountiful garden harvest and free range poultry at the 95% off grid homestead. Just like the early settlers, troy uses store bought lye and store bought oil to make that crap. I know several people that make their own soap and they use the product of wood ash and animal fat. The soap is barely off white and smells great. He got his recipe off the internet and its nothing like the real thing and the color is horrid. This is a perfect example of him just trying to dream up content when everything he does is for show and useless in real life. A gift of that crap would piss most people off.

Don't question trog as it reveals his lack of thought and honesty in his videos. Making the soap in the house with the lye fumes is actually good for the kid. She needs to get her lungs used to the pollution pouring out of his mouth and the H2 gasses from the dead batteries in the enclosed house. Besides she is a ripe candidate to start smoking crack or meth at a young age to drown her sadness and pain of having trog as a parent. The shame and ridicule will be her life burden and crack will be the answer. Besides he has probably already told her that when she turns 18 it will be her turn to support him.
