This classic Sci-Fi serial is part 2 of a 13-episode series that was originally released in 1936. Although by today’s standards may seem quite comical, was an amazing cutting edge piece of film work. It is an enjoyable part of what we may consider Sci-Fi film history. SO sit back and enjoy.

After landing on the planet and falling into the clutches of Emperor Ming Dr. Zarkov is imprisoned in Ming’s laboratory. Ming then condemns Flash Gordon to death by sending him in to fight ape-like men. Ming tries to win Dale Arden over to become his bride. Princess Aura tries to convince Ming to let Flash live. Then both her and Flash end up getting dropped down a trap door, where a net is deployed just in time to prevent them from a horrible death. Ming then orders them both to be captured and imprisoned.
