goto statement (Time Travel) - GOTO START
Before we talk about time travel we need to talk a little bit about the source of our knowledge. Now who was Gene Roddenberry? Apparently he had an inside source on Technology and a few other things. (FYI) Gene Roddenberry Star trek is your best non Biblical source for all technology and knowledge about reality. Just in case you didn’t already know, Gene Roddenberry and Star Trek is the recipient of knowledge and technology from a high source just like many other people in other science and technology.
For instance Microsoft and Intel were recipients of knowledge and technology. Many other science and technologies such as the ones in Silicon Valley was recipients also.
Does anyone remember when we were trying to go to the moon with the processing power of less than today calculators? Not even enough processing power to make the red alert sound on Captain Kurt Enterprise. I think a few scientists and engineers got prank on the moon trip technology. Apparently there were big mistakes made. The moon landing project didn’t use any of the star trek technology that came out in 1964.
Speaking of Technology release there are a few things that come to mind for me. How did the Star trek world know about that flip phone in 1964? Did anybody notice how casual they used 3.5” colored floppy disks? OK now just think of this they had laptops that were on a spender and could easily spin around for easy use. This alone indicates that they had been using Laptops for probably ten years or more. Yes the spinning laptop is simple mechanic but functionality and simplicity is the hardest thing of all to create or even know about.
Well to fully explain or attempt to explain it was necessary to get what I consider the above prerequisites out first. I am certain some may think it comical to make reference to star trek technology and science as a credible explanation of today technology. Just remembers those flip phones and floppy disks noting else need be said. So let’s get down to the business of Time Travel and the GOTO Statement. For the record I have watch all the star trek movies and the entire TV series star trek, with the exception of the new Discovery series. If you haven’t watched all of star trek it not to late it’s all still available for viewing.
Now let talk about Captain Kurt and all the other star trek Captains traveling faster than light to travel back in time. Many of the star trek personalities have explained how time travel is possible. Time travel is all very simple and functional. So let me start by explaining the principle with a few very simple examples.
As time carries us across existence we can only see one slice of existence at a time. But the whole of existence is always there. As the star trek character Q explains to Captain Picard many time, you can only see one instance of existence but I can see the whole loaf of bread and can go there when I please.

Now let me share another angle or point of view to explain. This is pretty simple and straight forward. Just take a look at the flow chart below:
This flow chart represents a very accurate Time Travel example. Functional and simple the controls are currently showing your existence at zero on the time scale. This is simply to take you back in time to a Label or a place that is there for that purpose.
Now the programming Engineers watched star trek and saw that time travel pollutes the time line and cause many problem. So as a result of what they saw on star trek they did their best to get rid of the “goto statement”. The goto statement was the easiest way for time travel in a project. They went on to explain you don’t need a goto statement it just too messy.
