West Wittering Beach | Zen Zone Video #1
Recently, I did a spontaneous trip to West Wittering Beach, Chichester, West Sussex. Which is Southwest of London, here in the UK.
I did a post about it last week.
It was such a beautiful place and a beautiful moment for me to be there and find my zen.
There is so much natural beauty here in the UK, and I am very grateful to be less than 2 hrs drive from some amazing beaches.
When I visited this beach, I shot some footage with my phone, not knowing what I'd do with them.
Today, I needed some zen, I found these clips I took while going through my gallery, and I thought I'd really enjoy channeling my creative side and making a video out of them.
So here we are...
All footage was taken by me, using my Samsung Galaxy S9. And it was all free hand, as you'll see in the vid. It was such great practice to be patient, slow and steady.
I edited the video using my favourite mobile video editing app Quik.
The song used is called Moonrise by Zimmer, which was included within the app.
This was really fun to make, and has definitely brought me back to that zen zone, that was West Wittering Beach.
I think I'd like to make more of these "Zen Zone" videos!

The tide was like that for almost 2 hrs! Who knew I would be there at the best time to take these shots.

Indeed. Space an time to yourself is very important. Yeah I keep saying "when the kids are older" to myself as a reason to go by myself somewhere guilt free, knowing they're not missing our or might have plans for themselves etc.
But even now when I leave the house and say goodbye to T 5 times he apparently forgets I even went. @radicalpears said one day that he was yelling for me in the house and she had to remind him haha.
Very true! He did. Alone time is important but I’m also looking forward to some trips with the kids to awesome places!

This looks similar to Camber Sands. It's very easy to get caught out by the sudden tide rise on these beaches... but they're so beautiful for photography (and running around on in low tide)
I've been wanting to check out Camber Sands for ages! I heard it gets mighty busy there though?
We need to do a Steem group outing to one of these beaches at some point!

Great video, I am always a sucker to water and the reflections of light in it, I think maybe that water represents emotions and has some sort of unconscious feeling that we can't quite put our finger on, when anyone mentions Zen, it always reminds me of Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance, a book I read as a teenager and definitely took my consciousness to a different level, have a great week mate x
The waves, wave ripples and light reflections really got me man... That place had such great energy, was so zen there.

Yes looks amazing, for me is not easy to reach that one, but maybe one day I will buy a motorbike and be more flexible. I shall see :)
