RE: What is Anarchy?

in #dtube5 years ago

yeh the logical conclusion when people talk about anarchy and anarchism is to actually apply it to real life. Otherwise you may as well have said "I dont like it when people are forced to do something against their will, I like the golden rule." but that would be a short video. Most people agree and its pretty obvious.
Its true, It has never worked in history on any scale worth mentioning. Find me an example if you like, id be interested, genuinely. Remember what i said about it working independently from a state though and having defense otherwise its redundant as a working example of a political philosophy.
I know about slavery yes, but there have been long periods of history (outside of Africa) and especially in Europe where slavery hasn't been the norm. Its a weak argument because we replaced slavery in the west with something better, that's the hard part - finding something better, entering into a new paradigm. Anarchy is not that new idea that will work wicked style, its an old idea that has failed. I am saying that anarchism cant work and has never worked on a scale worth mentioning and it is weak compared to other structures and cant survive and that in fact it has been selected out. But if you agree hierarchies are effective then there's no argument really.
I am just warning people that anarchism as a political philosophy cant work. It goes against human nature because hierarchies naturally develop and they are useful and work. Egalitarianism is evil and requires too much force to apply, its unnatural and will lead to a murderous regime that will be overthrown. With the last question, yes basically. Semantic stuff is pointless. These kind of arguments are things I used to entertain 15 years ago when i first started studying philosophy, they are not intelligent honestly. Save yourself a lot of time and start thinking in terms of what helps your group survive in terms of competition with other groups on the global level - that is the board we are playing on anything else is pointless. Again larping about the golden rule or the non aggression principle doesn't do anything practical. Its like Tibet meditating about peace whilst the Chinese take it over.

I have provided you with an example of Anarchy working on a large scale for thousands of years in the video I linked. The rest of what you say seems based on your belief that it has never worked, so I'll wait until you have watched that video before I take the time to reply more.

its ok thanks for the video if i get around to watching it one day ill let you know. Im just letting anyone who reads this know that anarchism goes against human nature and we work best with leaders and that it doesn't work better than nationalism for example. It will fall to a more traditional society if it ever grew which it wont. All political philosophies are ultimately tested by other societies philosophies that will replace them if they are not functioning as well as they are. Not whether they sound nice or are fair etc. People can judge for themselves. Regards

Here's an interesting podcast if you want to learn about modern politics. Anarchism as a movement has already served its use and has been absorbed to form "woke capital" its about forcing people to bake you a gay cake, natzee hunting and tranny bathrooms now not Kropotkin.
