En el video de hoy podremos observar cómo hacemos para sembrar cebollitas de verdeos desde sus semillas y directamente en el almacigo, recordemos que esta hortaliza también se pude sembrar desde su bulbo, si bien, sembrar de esta manera se obtienen resultados más rápidos, es difícil conseguir que te vendan las plantas con sus raíces.

La siembra de la cebollita es bastante sencilla, aun así, hay algunas puntos a tener en cuenta.

Esta es una hortaliza que requiere de mucho sol, es la razón principal para sembrar directo en el almacigo, necesita una tierra bien abonada y nutrida, en los dos videos anteriores pueden observar todo el trabajo previo que se ha hecho, necesita un almacigo de una profundidad superior a los diez o quince centímetros, el riego es muy importante, dependiendo de la zona y del clima, es conveniente aplicar dos riegos diarios.

Para comenzar a sembrar hacemos unos pequeños surcos con la ayuda de un palo, de una separación mayor a veinte centímetros entre líneas, las semillas las ubicamos a una separación de diez centímetros entre ellas.

Comenzamos la siembra ubicando una semilla, sin embargo, pueden ubicar hasta tres semillas, ya que no todas llegan a brotar, en lo mejor de los casos, solo debemos reubicar la planta. Antes de finalizar cubrimos nuestras semillas con una delgada capa de tierra nuestras, finalmente regamos nuestras hileras de semillas.
