Etude in A minor (Johann N. Hummel)

in dtube •  24 days ago

Etude literally means "finger exercises" and this was written in A minor key.

Hummel was a classical composer, in which era was perfecting fingerworks most of the time. Almost all piano teachers were gentleman, back in 1837 including Hummel. Fingerworks from then until now has become the most essential practice among great pianists.

This etude focused more on arpeggios, same keynote control, colours and dynamics.

In order to play well, you need to show off some great techniques. . -Teacher Val
