The site describes what IPFS is and why it could be a good thing.
The site doesn't get anyone newbie enough information to why you would by the service and how it will benefit them and the community.
Why should DTUBERS/Steem peeps run a IPFS hosting? Will it help their files run smoother or does it overall benefit the community to have more people hosting IPFS?
Yes it benefits the entire community when users "seed" content. Peer to peer technology is not like YouTube. It cannot be compared to it either. When users seed content the content can exceede the speeds of Google's networks as google doesn't host nodes on consumer devices . When you purchase our service (or simply use our free service) your DTUBE content is backed up to node(s). The more you pay the more nodes and faster the file. Something that really needs to happen is people come together and host each others files. As the files stay around and always load instantly. One last thing, you can seed your videos on IPFS via little as an android phone with 2gb ram and 5MBPS upload like you have :D
