How To Build A Fire ... in the snow!
Building a fire is a basic human need. The ability to warm ourselves and to cook food. It is not always easy, and it takes practice.
Today The Dreamer and I are building a fire in the snow. We are clearing away nearly a foot of snow and using what we have found around the homestead to start a fire.

I bet you'd be perfectly fine in Texas right about now. All these skills have been mostly lost in urban areas and we're being painfully reminded of that fact right now.
I bet. My heart hurts for alot of people. I love modern technology, but it is really cutting into our ability to take care of ourselves. I have always made it a point to have a place for my family where we had our own water source and a wood stove. Then we can figure the food part out. Is there any other skill type thing you would be interested in me vlogging about?
