Today we are joined once again by Gerry Docherty, co-author with Jim MacGregor of Hidden History: The Secret Origins of the First World War and Prolonging the Agony: How the Anglo-American Establishment Deliberately Extended WWI. In this conversation we cover the remarkable suppressed history of Herbert Hoover's role in prolonging the agony of World War One, including his stewardship of the American relief of Belgium in the early part of the war and overseeing the removal of valuable historical documents from Europe after the war.

From my experience with a foray into local politics after the 2008 Ron Paul presidential bid. I found that only the absolute most corrupt gets to move up into the state and federal positions. The strain all the well intended out well before they get to national politics with only a few exceptions.
It's not much of a surprise to me that Hoover was such a scumbag. But it's new information none the less.
This effort is much appreciated and I think is the kind of study into history that we need. History has been in the possession of the ruling class for far too long!
