The scoop is Roland dropped new muliplatform DAW called Zenbeats. I got it right away am trying here on iPad. It graciously hosts AUv3. Audio Units is the future, as you know Apple phasing out inter-app support. Mobile music making landscape is changing. Zenbeats provides Ableton style clip launching and handy piano roll/grid editor - best on iPad (beats Cubasis on that and mile ahead of Gadget supporting AUv3). I played pulling together several audio units apps I want to play for a long time, but system lacking the infrastructure. Also used bulk of real deal FabFilter processors, automation too. Wanted to see if it chocks or able of handling decent project :)
Yes, Zenbeats supports iPhone and Android as well. And it gets better - Mac and PC. Intro offer is you get cross-platform DAW and whole bunch of premium sound packs for $100. Best hundred ever spend on sht!

On tracks and the master I put at least 10 instances of FabFilter premium processors: Pro-G, Pro-C2, Pro-MB, Pro-Q3 and several Zenbeats own plugs. Nothing choked yet. Directly uploaded to SoundCloud from within the app Zenbeats too.
Now it a real DAW with real VST on mobile. Good job, Roland!
