The world is a small place when you travel! Awesome that it happened on your birthday too!

Iust go to canada again, what an amazing cpuntry.

Thanks for the read... and I'll need to check out this platform at some point: Pop my Mind.

Going to have a listen to yoir track soon, once my family is awake... we do like some good drum and bass 😁!

It sure is @senorcoconut! Unreal that this happened actually, still can't believe it did! Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

Yes Pop My Mind is something I haven't fully explored but the CEO reached out to me when they first launched, full of all sorts of creative minds and I think they would do well coming to steemit.

Awesome your family likes drum & Bass (best genre in the WORLD haha), I hope you all enjoy!

I already forgot to look into Pop My Mind... thanks for the reminder! Drum and Bass for ever!

Haha, I haven't looked at it for a long time either, part of too many things and starting to focus down now on a couple of platforms I like. Steemit of course being one of them!

I agree with you there! DnB ftw!

@nickhavey, I loved the song! I would listen to it while driving ;-) It has a really neat beat and it's relaxing. That photo at the end of your post is fabulous!

Thanks a lot @lymepoet! Yes would be a good one to drive along to, particularly along mountain passes 😀 thank you for checking out this hybrid travel/music post.

Going to be going back through my journal notes from travelling in years gone by and share some more stories 😊

Thanks a lot @gjart! Glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the comments on production too 😊

This is a great song and cool story behind it.

Thanks a lot @bufinjer! Starting to make the music posts in to blog posts as I want to share the stories behind each track. Glad you enjoyed this little adventure!

Nice track, very dreamy... it actually made me want to travel!!! I kmow winter is on it's way here in the north and I always get the travel bug but that track was nice for that!

Ah thanks a lot man, I appreciate the feedback and taking the time to listen. Yes, sadly Winter is on it's way but living off the memories created from Summer's gone by at the moment! Where are you planning to go on your next adventure?

No plabs yet... oh wait, yes we are going to spend the coldest month of winter in Puerto Rico. As far as a real backpacking adventure, traveling the sorld and all that... I'm not sure when will be the next one! We are building a homestead and starying to settle down a bit!

Sometimes it is good to settle down a bit and plan an even more epic adventure but I guess priorities come first. Think I have one more crazy travel adventure left for next year and then I will settle down... Unless the universe has some other plans in store!

When do you go to Puerto Rico?

Posted using Partiko Android

Puerto Rico'll be for this winter. Yes I settled down but in truth, traveling is never really over... I will always be a traveler, where's your next trip taking you?

Yea I think my travels after next year will be the rudimentary holiday leave so going to enjoy it. I am jetting off to Melbourne from the UK for at least 3 months in April.

No real plans as such, got a friend out there but am going to read through a few travel blogs and see where to go. Would love to go to NZ as well but think it's their winter too. Options options!

sir nickyhavey! hahaha what a grand story sir nicky! that is totally amazing that you ran into Jay in that remote location, it just had to be meant to be, don't know how to explain it but it can't have been an accident!
wonderful. great music, great story, great photos, great post!

Haha, thank you Lord @janton! I know, it's such a surreal story and we will ALWAYS remember it, there has to be something bigger at play here and I'm convinced of it - Universe provides :)

sir nickyhavey! hey were you traveling with friends on your United States and Canada trip? So they had to be independently wealthy or unemployed to be able to travel for 50 days! lol.

I stayed with friends for a couple of weeks but the rest of the time I was either on my own or with travel groups. These are organised tours lasting about 2-3 weeks that people go on as part of their annual leave. In the UK (and Europe) we are a bit more fortunate in that we can have longer holidays. Although if you decide not to work and go travelling between jobs, you can go for longer :)

sir nickyhavey! oh that is very interesting..it sounds like Europe puts a priority on vacations and I'm not aware of any type of attitude like that in the United States, I think the emphasis is on working 7 days a week and that may help get you ahead! (and age you faster)

Lord Janton! Yes I think you Americans like to work longer hours and not reward your workers. I'm all for working smarter not harder. If you need to work 7 days a week to get something done, well, that's not good for anyone! But some people love that and that's cool too. It's not for me, I like my free time 🙂

ha! spoken like a true European who only works half the year! lol. no I'm teasing. American companies like total servitude and complete dedication, almost slavery but not quite!

But hey, you need free time so that creativity can flow!

Haha, half the year! Servitude or "slavitude"? One of the reasons I could never work in America. Don't get me wrong, I like working, probably do more than most but there has to be respect from the employer.
