Less than a month ago, @freetousesounds happened upon a flyer for martial arts and self-defense classes in Chiangmai, Thailand. The somewhat banal poster seemed to have perked our interested that morning while eating at one of our favorite breakfast spots.

Shortly after that morning, we decided to reach out to the studio and ask if there were openings and prices. Within a few days, we were kicking, punching, and learning new techniques to protect ourselves.

These past few weeks learning self-defense has made quite an impact on me. In this original @dsound podcast, I chat with Marcel about why I think everyone should enroll in self-defense classes.
