Why Finding "Winning Products" Instead of Building a Brand or a Business is a Recipe for Failure...

So one of the Buzz Words I keep hearing DropShipping Gurus throwing out lately is "Winning Products". Winning products along with "Drop Surfing" which seems to be just some new hype words to sell more courses.

This has led to a ton of people looking around for info on what exactly is a winning product as well as how to find winning products.

I'm curious to hear from you guys. When you hear the term winning product what does that mean to you? is it a product that has sold? A product that is profitable? A product that has made you 5k? What is a winning product exactly.

To me the whole premis of finding one product that's going to carry your business isn't a great one, if all you have going for you is one product what's to stop someone else from selling that product and undercutting you on price creating a race to the bottom?

Can you make some money finding a trendy product, absolutely, sometimes you can make a lot of money if your early to the game but ultimately if your strategy is to find a winning product your going to find yourself in a circle of continuously looking for the next trend or fad and the next winning product as opposed to building a real business or a real brand which creates more of a barrier to entry for competitors, creates a mote, creates recurring buyers who come back and buy again and again.
