We have heard in the past that DJI is working on a new unmanned aircraft that will carry the name DJI Mavic 2. Now thanks to PhotoRumors, we have a better idea of the design of this UAV, which is in line with what we saw in the image leaked in Last month.
However, it seems that this is not all because a report from the Drone DJ site reveals some of the DJI Mavic 2 specifications. The latter will be available in two versions, one with the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the other with DJI Mavic 2 Zoom . The main difference between the two versions will be in the camera systems used.
For the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom camera, it will have a camera that offers two-way optical zoom from 24mm to 48mm. As for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, it appears to have a 1-inch CMOS sensor and a Hasselblad camera. We are not sure if this camera is the result of a DJI partnership with Hasselblad, so this is something we have to wait to make sure of ourselves.
It is also said that the DJI Mavic 2 is a small but powerful drone with 1080p resolution capability, supports a range of up to 8 km, a top speed of 45 miles per hour and a battery that can withstand about 31 minutes. In addition, this UAV supports the Multi-Direction Sensor for Tracking and Active Track 2.0.
Unfortunately, there is currently no information on the price or date of launch, but based on the amount of leaks we have received so far, we believe that the official announcement date is coming soon.
