5 facts about the Sega Dreamcast you probably didn't know

I was recently digging through my old boxes and found my prized Sega Dreamcast. It was an awesome console when it was released but didn't do nearly as well as it should have. I decided to do some research and remind the world of the Sega Dreamcast!

• The Dreamcast is the easiest system to pirate games for. With a few simple CD-Rs and basic software you can have any game you'd like. No jail breaking or mods are necessary. (You didn't hear it from me!)

• The Dreamcast was the first Entertainment System that came with a VGA port, allowing users to hook it up to a computer monitor. This came in handy as you could buy a keyboard & mouse making the browser extremely useful!

• The Rapala fishing rod for the Dreamcast was the first motion using controller used on a mass produced system. Nearly ten years before the Nintendo Wii would design the Wii mote.

• The Dreamcast was the first system to boot up with Microsoft Software (Windows CE). Years and years before the Xbox franchise took to the masses.

• Every First Person Shooter (FPS) released for the Dreamcast required you to use the mouse & keyboard. You'll notice the controls on the Dreamcast controller are reversed making it nearly impossible to aim!
