Yes, that was intense... And yes, that will probably happen from time to time. Annoying.

But: there is definitely clear support for authors who are not verified in this way! I think it's really about special, unique content and comprehensible authenticity. As examples I might mention @travisfilmmaker or @panafricana-sam: both independent and not connected to any communities, but from the first minute on the steem on attention and high votes. It was probably partly my recommendation, but also the broad response to their special and unusual subject matter that ensured this attention.

I believe we are missing out on great opportunities to become a truly "special" medium if we let such unique items fail due to verification processes.
