My Application for Steem Representative 2025

Reference: Your post dated May 6th for the selection of "Steem Representatives." I hereby apply for the same and hope to get a positive nod from you. I am working as an SR presently with all my good intentions and all my might.

I joined this website on May 14, 2022, and have posted over one thousand posts at an average of over one post a day in the last three years.
Professional Experience: Project Lead for marketing and maintenance of our equipment in different countries (now posted in Australia)
Educational Qualifications : A mechanical engineer and a PG Diploma in Marketing and Administration.
Resident: I am basically from the National Capital Region of India, but I presently live in Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory.
Languages: I can speak several Indian languages fluently and manage a few. I can write and read Hindi and English. However, I have no problem reading posts in any language since my browser is set to translate the pages on auto.
My Online Experience: I started working online for various websites as early as 2003 when the internet became available at an affordable price to Indians. I am conversant with the basics that help keep the platform clean, i.e., how to check plagiarism, club status, and how to check AI through various tools mentioned on the website as well. However, I have been working on AI so I can tell AI-generated post at first glance.

I support two newbies weekly by keeping them as beneficiaries in my posts. But I am planning to change it into a more effective program that should attract more talented newbies.

I have over 50,000 SP of my own, which I am sure would indicate how hard I have worked to accumulate them within this short period. Let me add I have never used a single Steem for my personal use but either used them as a reward or added to my wallet.

In the end, I assure you that if reinstated I will use all my ability and knowledge to help and guide Steemians as much as possible.
Why would I be a good Steem Representative?
First of all, I believe Steem Representatives should support each and every member on Steemit and not just the users fro their country or community.
I always follow this rule: I am part of a global community
You can expect me to support every good post as I have been doing in my capacities, a mod, a curator or a Steem Representative.
I have been working as an SR for over one year and trying my best to find the best Steemians and support them beyond the country and communities in particular. As you might be aware I started conducting contests when I was ranked at just 64 and did that in various communities, paying with my resources.
I help everyone in whatever way possible especially the new users. If I am given the chance to serve once again as Steem Representative, I will continue to help members in need of support or bring other issues before the site management.
I have withdrawn only 225 Steem so far for trial purpose. Once I knew h.ow to withdraw I brought them back to my wallet. That shows my intention that I keep "Steemit First". I always try to post at least once a day as my data suggests that I have never stopped posting meaningful posts.

Maybe, but today we are living in a different world where "Me First" is the call of the day. I won't go into the details but sometimes I feel, was I right or should have acted the want me to act.
That's a hard one to answer. It all depends on what you want for yourself and what you can live with. I know myself and I can't live by doing things that don't make me feel good about me or is against my norms and values. For sure, my norms differ from others, and I am old-fashioned or whatever. A bit of "me-first" wouldn't harm. I did that yesterday on Mother's day and went to bed at 5 pm, tired of everything and because I had a dream to work on.
It's my belief that in the end the only thing that counts is if you can stand for what you do, if you feel good about yourself. Not many can say they have norms and values and cannot easily be bribed. Most people don't have dreams or ideas they will ever work out. This doesn't mean that's wrong, since ideas, inspiration can also just pop out of I the blue, be good and a success.
I don't see you as a person who will crawl and let others pull strings and let you tell which steps to take. I hope you stay that way, no matter what you decide, more selfish or not, just stay true to who you are and what you want for you.
Steemit is a hobby, and they should be happy if someone like you is willing to sacrifice many hours motivating others.
You have an apt analysis of pretty much everything. I feel the same but I have got so deeply involved that I can't leave midway what I have started (although, I feel tempted to do so at time especially when I wish to promote a few and that boomerangs on me.)
Then slowly take a few steps back and see what happens.
I noticed as soon as I stop curating and commenting it's silent and I have perhaps 4-6 Steemians talking to me which says enough.

I am thinking in terms of "Turn around and walk back after the ongoing project." Or work with dedicated Steemians that know the value of efforts!

That was a little too much but it sounds good 😄Actually I have learned a lot on this platform which were unknown to me before I joined this site. I am pretty wise now although I would dare not practice the knowledge that I gained here. You know, everyone has their own ethics and they do as per their choice.
