Charles Addams favorite Artist was Sam Cobean

I just discovered him today. I am reading a book on Charles Addams life. He is my favorite Cartoonist.

I just wanted to share him so you can look him up yourself and maybe just post a few cartoons so you can see. They been reshared and shared everywhere online and these from the 1940s.

I love the way Sam Cobean draws just a few scribbles and make thousands of dollars off...in 1940s.. because of his gag. They are funny. He had a clean line Charles Addams respected.

The joke... it was the gag. Yes he's so funny. See he's so funny. Charles Addams admired him they were good friends and they helped each other out. Both in New Yorker Magazine.

These cartoons are really funny too and Charles Adams work for the New Yorker also. Yes he created The Addams Family. Morticia Wednesday etc!

I recommend the book in Audible on Charles Addams Cartoonist life. Also the New Yorker Cartoonist documentary.
