Interesting story, Athar could any person who living fighting struggling despite of been born to the House Qarda to rule. Great description of inner fight, emotions, that recalled previous events and at the end decision that it is the time to go in order to be re-born.
Thank you for showing your process of painting and how the figure was sketched and worked out to final piece. Beautiful painting and interesting story.

What a great and delightful post, goodnode. I like that most of your stories are usually filled with dread and terror, and this one is no exception. I'm not sure what I would do either in his position... but I can understand why he made the choice for revenge. After all, he lost everything that is dear to him.
I hope when he is reincarnated, he will get a better luck in life ^_^.

I couldn't help but shiver at the end when he gave in to the demon but i understand his choice. You write such a moving story and you drew a fitting picture of the elf. I enjoyed myself immensely reading your story. That is an interesting mark on his forehead too.
Would you write a sequel? I would love to read more about him.
