How Would You Rate The Excellence In Curation When It Comes To @steemhunt Account?
Curation is a much talked about topic on STEEM. @timcliff (Currently the #14 Witness) had this to say about the current situation on STEEM which IMHO is a popular half truth:
The easiest way to show that it is a half truth is to point at the statistics related to @steemhunt which I've obtained through https://steemworld.org Numbers needs no arguments on a transparent blockchain.
A Closer Look
If you take a look at https://token.hunt.town you'll see that many of the top upvoted accounts are moderators who are doing a lot of work to identify and maintain a good level of quality when it comes to content. These extra work deserve extra upvotes. The rest are very regular and active members of the community. I want you to check out your own stats and compare with the @steemhunt account which is almost large enough to make three whale accounts.
Before going into more details I'd like to know the opinion of the active community of STEEM regarding these statistics.Then e can talk about ho these are achieved and the effectiveness of them.
- It's Virtually Impossible To Do Better. This Is The Gold Standard.
- It's Very Well Done Curation - Exactly What We Need On STEEM
- It's Still Only On A Tech/Innovation Niche - Overall Curation Quality Is Average
- I Don't Think It's Good
- The HUNT Score System Is Too Complicated/Elitist - That's Not How Curation Was Meant To Be
- This Isn't Manual Curation. It's Just A Bot

The hype of it all is the poor/false comments which are a bait to @steemhunt, @gentlebot and users upvotes.
