There are two types of measures, but hardware sellers are always using the more convenient (decimal) system. So the storage seems to be larger.

I’m not sure but I’m sure that it is a multiple of 1024, since 8 buts are in a byte, therefore it’s an exponential multiple of 8. (I think it’s 1024x1024x1024)
