The man, who killed at least 58 people in the “deadliest mass shooting incident in the modern US history“, is believed to be Stephen Paddock, a grandfather who lived in a remote desert home. 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire into the outdoor country music festival from the 32nd floor of Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino at 10.30 p.m
Las Vegas Police, the suspect Stephen Paddock acted alone and was not found to be associated with any terrorist activity or organization. Numerous pictures are circulating on social media, but none have been confirmed as the killer. A search operation has been launched to nab Paddock’s female companion, Marilou Danley, who according to cops was traveling with him before the attack.
Paddock is believed to have killed himself before a police SWAT team stormed his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. The cops found numerous ‘rifles’ in the room, said Las Vegas Metro Police Sheriff Joseph Lombardo., he was not known to the federal authorities but was known to local law enforcement.
The ISIS has claimed the responsibility for the Las Vegas shooting. The terrorist organization purported that the gunman Stephen Paddock converted to Islam several months ago and carried out the attack. The terror outfit, however, offered no evidence for the same. US President Donald Trump has offered his condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims.
