HEY STEEMIANS!!! BTC Dominance is about to END! ETH will RULE!
I was cruising around http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/all/ and clicked the link at the top, "BTC Dominance: 38.3%" and found some dandy charts and graphs. What it shows is the above pic that I photo-chopped with some trend lines. The chart is "year to date" and I extended it out past this summer. Looks like sometime in July that ETH will surpass BTC as the dominant coin as far as Total Market Capitalization goes. Actually early July, but since the markets are governed by us "frail and impressionable Humans" ;) something could crop up to change these trends for a moment.
There's even BIGGER reason to know that Ethereum will totally DOMINATE the cryptos markets in the near future, and that can be seen here: http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/views/all/
These are the "Assets" or individual investments that can be purchased with cryptos. Ethereum OWNS the Top 20, and 50-some of the total 128 available assets. BTC has ONE. Ether is a superior funding platform, by design. Smart contracts are only the start, with the soon to be rolled out STATUS.IM native reputation system, which answers some of the questions we are facing here at Steemit. Back to the top 20, Ethereum has 15 of the Top 20 assets, and approximately $1.3 Billion of the ~$1.5 Billion in U$D invested in the Top 5. I have not even checked which of these platforms but a very quick look reveals that OMNI and NXT are Ether Based ;) WOW!
ETH is riding up Bitcoin's tailpipe in total market cap as of this morning, to the tune of 82.9% at the time of this writing...
Time to pile into ETH and the Smart Blockchain Train!

Yet more fiat flowing to crypto. That should at least be a good aspect of all of this hype.
I expect to see a $1 Trillion market cap for all coins soon, about an 8x increase.
Looking for the next "breakout coins" to invest in also. I'd like to put at least $100 U$D
in 5 or more cryptos very soon. IYKWIM :D

Well, Folks, looks like the ETH "Flash Crash" will delay the ETH take-over, for the time being at least. Ethereum still has a superior blockchain, and most of the biggest crypto investments use the ETH systems. Interesting times we live in!
