The toys for our dogs

The toys for a dog, it is apparently an easy subject.

The truth is, that we have to buy a toy for the dog, not for ourselves.
It doesn’t matter how much do we like it or how expensive it was, the dog doesn’t understand and doesn’t care for that.

He sees the world in a different way than a man, that’s why even the most beautiful toy may be left somewhere.

The best way to choose the toy is to show it to your dog, his reaction may be very helpful.
It makes possible evaluating the colour, shape or sound of it. The “taste” of the toy may be rated only after the purchase.
It helps a lot. Shape, construction and materials used to build have the big influence on the “tase” of the toy. I don’t insist to taste the toys before buying them, but you can evaluate it by the touch. You can spot the differences between better and worse product.

Personally I recognize 4 kinds of toys:

Balls, balls

In my opinion the most interesting are not too big, fitting in the dog´s mouth but not in that way he can swallow. Too big ones will probably end in the corner. The best is when the diameter of the ball is a little bit bigger than the width of the dog´s mouth. Worth recommending are the balls from elastic gum, they are elastic when being bitten and from the other side good products in that type can stand a few tons of pressure, so we can enjoy it a long tme. Also such a ball bounces really well when throwing , which makes the fun more attractive.

Wooden toys

First of all it is about the piece of stick ended with wooden block (wooden teether). It makes the dog take the toy in the middle, because it is impossible from any end of stick. The toy is not useful inside house, but during walks or on properties is very useful.

Cords (cords of ropes, dog chewer)

This toy is very similar to previous one with the difference that is made from braided material. The dogs really like it, because it bends when bitten. Unfortunately dogs like to get into knots and during the rain it gets soaked, so it is better to hide it after playing. However, it is worth recommanding fun, especially for houses and during nice weather.

Pipes

The pipes are very useful, especially with dejected dogs. Unfortunately they are not so strong, they easily get wasted, they stop making sound. The problem can be also with the female dogs, because they can treat them like puppies. Personally I use them during summer, when the heat is discouraging dogs to move.
