An answer to why Dogecoin is valuable and popular

Many in the crypto world have questioned why Dogecoin continues to be used and even increase in value despite the fact that it hasn't received an update in 2 years and doesn't really have any cool or innovative features compared to other coins.

The main reasons why Dogecoin still remains relevant and increasingly valuable when more useful coins have fallen by the wayside are that Dogecoin is used on every exchange out there, and that the transaction fees for Doge are super low. In a way, Doge is often used as a way to move money around in the crytpo world.

It's much cheaper to send Doge from one exchange to another at a fee of less than a cent than $30+ for bitcoin, and more reasonable but still much higher than a penny fees for other coins. Doge may persist simply for these reasons, and even continue to gain value!
