Well if you look at the Dmania picks the last few days, over half of them are from the same group of accounts, which all upvote and comment on each others shit posts within minutes.
They're all newer accounts, all consistently vote on all of the posts any of them make, and if you look at their comments, they're even making the same comments, which makes it look like they're cycling through a list of pre-made comments with some kind of bot script.
It would be one thing if they were actually even making memes, instead of just blatantly ripping off whatever GIF's or pics that they can easily find to steal.
Yeah - I've been noticing that myself, and it's very discouraging when I'm actually trying to make my own new memes, which never end up getting picked, and then you have a group of people literally posting copy/paste crap and upvoting each other with some kind of automated process somehow. Their votes & comments are consistently so close together that it's pretty obvious that's is not real people voting and commenting. They even use the same incorrect grammar over and over, but under multiple accounts!
I'm in the process of doing anything that I can to try to stop this blatant abuse. They're being reporting to the appropriate people who try to keep the spammers and fake accounts off of here, so hopefully this will be ending very soon.
And there's at least 50+ more of them just like this. It's pretty obvious that someone setup a bunch of fake accounts and is just using an automated script to cycle through them and upvote their own posts. So there's probably a couple "real" accounts that are gaming the system and getting multiple picks a day using multiple accounts.
