great post

Except here in my country where they are forbidden and only the government and its associated mafias can have them, these damn laws only damage the right of people to their legitimate defense. weapons are just a tool, a property.
good post.

Do you have statistics on how many gun owners own AR-15s? Most people are simply saying we shouldn't sell these to the public anymore...not take them from people's homes.

"We" shouldn't sell them to "the public"? Then, don't. If you already aren't selling AR-15s, then who is this "we"? How do you propose stopping the sales? What if they refuse to comply?

Rifles of all kinds are used in a very tiny minority of violent "gun crimes" as a whole, and AR-type rifles (which are just ergonomic semi-automatic carbines) can't account for even all of them. And they are a popular type owned by many people, not a criminals-only specialty. People like the AR because it is modular and easily configured to the owner's wishes.

Adjustable stocks mean the rifle can fit multiple shooters, and can be adapted to different levels of clothing throughout the year or different shooting positions. Folding stocks make it easier to store or carry a rifle.

A pistol grip is more ergonomic than a traditional stock, and thus more comfortable to hold. Many people find a vertical foregrip more comfortable to use and in turn increase the safety and precision of their firearm handling.

A barrel shroud keeps hands off hot metal when participating in many shooting sports, and on an AR-15 type rifle, it serves as the forearm of the rifle as well.

Muzzle brakes reduce felt recoil, and flash suppressors minimize muzzle flash that could temporarily blind the person shooting the rifle in low-light situations.

None of these features make the rifle inherently more "killy" than older semi-auto designs.

@thepholosopher love your video surely one of the amazing one!!
