BTW there is not 1 million active users there is barely 1 million accounts and almost every one has more than one. There are some people that own hundreds. Daily there are about 40-60 k real users. This chart is from @penguinpablo
this includes accounts that are cold wallets and all the accounts that are run by bot owners and steemit inc. Not that much activity.
I chat with a few every now and then.
I wouldn't call them unless I knew them.
You have to remember we all are learning here and we all have a different viewpoint of what is acceptable and what is not.
You might like something that triggers me and vice versa. You seem to be a California guy and we would never meet eye to eye. I am a southern man. But we can treat each other with respect and kindness.
If it is a truly open and uncensored platform we should be able to do as we please if were not hurting another person. Including joking about calling witnesses.

I don't fault bid bots for their promotional prowess.
I am slightly annoyed that it's up to the community to exert their own VP to flag down idiots who used bids for crap.

People can still buy votes outside of bid bots. It would have been the same beast, just got there a different way.
