Dusshera:

Dusshera is one of the major Hindu Festival celebrated every year in grandiose throughout India at the end of Navrathri. (meaning Nine Nights)

It is celebrated in remembrance of Lord Rama's victory over Ravana and also marks a reverence for one of the aspects of Goddess Devi. It is accompanied by various celebrations, among which one of them include lighting up the whole city.

I along with my friend Sanket shot the videos of our city lit up during the Dusshera festival of 2016 and created a video displaying the beauty of our small smart city in India.

There's also another tradition called Pili/Huli Vesha where people dress up in a Tiger Costume and perform Tiger Dance which is very specific to our region. Sadly, I missed recording that, but will definitely share it next time.

Hope you enjoy this video of our lit up city! :D
