Visit odderøya Island, Norway

Dear friends and followers,

I have made this video when I was cycling around the Island calls Odderøya. The island is popular for fishing, camping, jogging and there are nice beaches for swimming as well. I have visited odderøya beach a couple times, but I didn't visit the whole area. This time I have visited the end of the island and exploring around. It was so nice place with the beautiful views of the Ocean and city, old cannon positions. You can see in a video.

Odderøya is an island, located in the south of the city centre of Kristiansand. It was the former naval base, but nowadays it is a recreational area. The Gravanekanalen canal separates the island from the city center and the fish market. Odderøya has a very interesting military history with the gunpowder store, remnants of old ramparts, an old isolation hospital and other buildings from the 18th century onwards.
